My story

From Marrakech to Marrakech: thirty years between Europe and Morocco.

I left Marrakech at the age of six. I came back in 2024 with a surveyor’s diploma earned in Italy, years of building sites and fieldwork in Europe, and one conviction: a buyer who lives abroad deserves someone reliable on the ground.

The rule behind every project

The journey at a glance

Four countries, one common thread: building.

Marrakech, Italy, Switzerland, France, then Marrakech again: each stage added a skill that I now put at the service of your project.

Leaving at six

I spent my first six years in Marrakech: its light, its warmth, the scent of jasmine. In 1994, my mother, my sisters and I left to join my father in Italy.

My first plane. Through the window, the ochre houses turned into tiny red dots. That day, I understood that my life would now be lived between two worlds.

From the football pitch to building school

A new language, a new culture. It was on the football pitch that I found my place: the ball knows no borders and no accents.

A serious injury ended my dreams of a sporting career. I channelled that energy into my studies: in 2010, I earned my surveyor’s diploma (Geometra) in Bergamo, at the Istituto Quarenghi. At weekends and during the holidays, I was learning on the ground: electrics, plumbing, trade and real estate.

“Understanding how a house’s heart beats, not just drawing it.”

Plans, building sites and a sense of duty

After my diploma, I threw myself into renovation: thousands of hours designing 2D and 3D plans, learning to see the hidden potential of a structure.

At the same time, to support my parents, I was also working for an electronics company. That is where I learned what a project means for a family: precision, responsibility and patience.

Geneva: starting over

2014 turned everything upside down: the crisis in Italy, a first return to Morocco that did not work out, and a serious leg injury. I chose to start again from scratch, in Geneva.

For five years, I worked with a demanding clientele in Switzerland: a real training ground for mastering French and a sense of service. I settled in Ferney-Voltaire, a stone’s throw from Geneva, to build a solid base for my family.

“Every hardship taught me patience and gratitude.”

The turning point: back to my trade

In 2020, as for many people, the health crisis called everything into question. I had a stable situation in Switzerland; I chose to return to what I have always been passionate about: building, interior layout and real estate advice.

I set up my own business in Ferney-Voltaire with one idea: to be an adviser who brings real technical value, not just a middleman.

Back to Marrakech: Dar’Investa is born

In 2024, I moved back to Marrakech for good. Dar’Investa grew out of this journey: putting thirty years of experience between two cultures at the service of Moroccans living abroad and European investors, with fixed fees announced in advance.

I also told the story of this journey home in a book, SOLO, for Moroccans abroad who want to come back with a method.

Why I created Dar’Investa

Because buying from abroad should not be a gamble.

01

A technical eye

My training as a surveyor shows me what a listing does not: damp, finishes, whether the surface areas and documents add up.

02

Fixed fees

0% commission on the property price: I have no interest in you paying more, nor in pushing you to buy.

03

Someone on the ground

I live in Marrakech. I visit, I check, I send you photos and videos, and you only travel for the properties that are worth it.
